I am a UX researcher in the San Diego area. I aspire to conduct research informing designs for meaningful user experiences that solve problems and bring joy. I'd especially love to do work with sustainability, entertainment, and health.
My background in psychology and broadcast journalism has taught me how to understand, connect, and tell peoples' stories in clear, informative, and creative ways. (Check out some of my photography and my award-winning videos)!
Additionally, my experience as a project coordinator has allowed me to develop mastery in attention to detail, tackling multiple projects, facilitating communication, and meeting deadlines.
While I'm currently in sunny southern California, I still have much DMV pride, go Maryland! I'm also a November baby, hence the autumn themed gif. In my spare time, you'll find me reading or watching anime and romcoms (check out some of my recommendations at the bottom). My loves include traveling to exciting places, photographing happy moments, and eating delicious food. Next on my list to do all of these things simultaneously is Disney World! I can't wait to feel like a kid again at the happiest place on earth.
However, I've truly learned that every day is a blessing, a chance to enjoy life but also to grow and learn. My goal is to dive deeper into the fields of UX research, design, and management while still being involved in my community and enjoying my hobbies.
